Plot
The film begins in the island village of Mandwa, where a young Vijay witnesses his father Deenanath Chauhan (Chetan Pandit), a school teacher and idealist, being lynched by Kancha Cheena and his men after being falsely accused of a crime. Vijay escapes with his pregnant mother Suhasini (Zarina Wahab) and moves to Mumbai, where he is taken under the wing of Rauf Lala, a crime boss who runs a flesh trade. Vijay grows up to be a ruthless and ambitious man who works for Lala and gradually rises in the ranks of the underworld.
Vijays only aim is to return to Mandwa and kill Kancha, who has now become a powerful drug lord who exports cocaine to Mumbai using Mandwa as his base. He also wants to reclaim his fathers honor and dignity. Along the way, he meets Kaali, a bubbly girl who runs a beauty salon and falls in love with her.
